S.T.R.O.N.G YOUTH

School's Out!

This is the sound every youth likes to hear. Let me say it again "School's Out!" This is true for thousands of students for the month of May, and June. Lets say it again, SCHOOL'S OUT!!!!

School is great, it's a time to learn, a time to spend valuable time with friends, a very special time of the year. But, so much greater, when school is out, a time to vacation, time to catch up on sleep, a time to travel. For the working youth it means more money in the paycheck. Then there are always so many exciting things to do.

Summer life is awesome, but it can sometimes be a time of pain and hurt. Summer is also a lonely time and our youth have a lot of empty hours with nothing to do. Trouble just seems to pick you up and then you are being pressured into things that you have no desires to do.

Permit me to inject some ideas that will keep you out of trouble.

1. Work around the house

2. Get involved in community work

3. Get a job, if of working age

4. Play Sports

5. Find a local church and get involved with the youth groups

6. Visit family that will give good direction in life

7. Find a hobby and be constructive

8. Be creative and invent

9. Further your education

10. Go on vacation with family

Remember, you only go through life once, so make it a super great life. Help lead your friends into the good life. The best place to find friends are at church. Your life is valuable, so be what God has called you to be and be the best you can. Accept Christ in your life today.

We are told in 1 John 2:1-2 "Sin not, but if we do, we have and advocate with the Father, Jesus. Jesus is our propitiation for our sins and the whole world.
