OUR FUTURE

Abundant Praise Church of God of Kingfisher, OK has been moving from level to level this past three years. The church family has been working very hard to see their church in Kingfisher become the mission church that God has called it to be.

Over these years the church has worked hard to be good stewards of God's money, and they have succeeded.  The church has been growing spiritually, financially and numbericly these past five months. Praise be to God!

Approxiately nineteen months ago we discovered that our present facilities was sinking. The foundation of our sanctuary has dropped about one inch, due to the problem that the foundation was crumbling. The cost to repair the building was far more then our small church could afford. We begin to pray and fast and seek God for guidence. July of last year we began a building fund with our 4th July fireworks sales. We began to spread the word and pledges were made. We also have had local businesses in our area provide money and services for our project. Here we are almost one year later and God has blessed us with little over $48,000.00. To God be the Glory! We presently have two fundraisers scheduled this summer. June 24th - July 5th we will sell fireworks on highway 33, just east of Kingfisher. This will be our third year. The final fundraiser for the summer will be Kingfisher County Fair August 18th - 21st.

The super good news is we have begun construction May 13th, 2010. The project will be concluded the last of June 2010. The Men and Women of Action in the Church of God will be be doing the work.

We have seen miracle after miracle in our church families and at Abundant Praise. We strongly believe what Jeremiah said in chapter 32, verse 17."Nothing is to hard for God".
